Fuel control

Monitoring of fuel is a system based on GPS / GPRS technology enriched with fuel measurement, which constantly transmitts fuel level data to the client application, additionally customer receives information about refuellings with indicating their place and time and fuel consumption.

Data fuel in the vehicle can be obtained in several ways.

• The oldest solution is to retrieve data from a factory float located in vehicle's tank. This solution, however, with a high measurement error and presents only a general view of the fuel in the vehicle.
• Definitely more recent solution is retrieving data from the CAN bus. This solution indicates fuel level and fuel consumption, but not in all brands and models of vehicles can be used. To verify if we can retrive fuel data from CAN in particular vehicle model please call our Technical Department.
• Fuel probe is the most precise solution, data about fuel level is the most accurate due to sensor. Fuel probe is placed vertically in the fuel tank, the measurement takes place continuously during the driving of the vehicle and at every stop. The tank is individually calibrated when the probe is assembled to give the most precise readings.

With the quest for more accurate measurement of fuel tank analogue probe may be replaced by a newer nad more precise digital. Digital Fuel probe has a high resistance to interference and power surges. The probe transmits a digital signal, what prevents its distortion by external factors.

This solution allows you to view the fuel level in the tank, the detection of refueling and losses, and the location of vehicles is provided on an ongoing basis, so that prevents fuel theft. To get best result it is neccessary to have one probe in each fuel tank.
